Utah Trafficking in Persons Task Force 

The Utah Trafficking in Persons (UTIP) Task Force, hosted by the Utah Attorney General's Office, includes members and partners from federal, state and local law enforcement and government agencies, the military, community and system-based victim advocates, medical and mental healthcare providers, nongovernmental organizations and academics all working together to combat human trafficking in Utah.

UTIP Mission:

To implement a coordinated victim-centered, trauma informed approach through multidisciplinary collaboration to combat human trafficking in Utah.

Focus:

  • Identifying victims of all human trafficking

  • Investigating and prosecuting all forms of trafficking

  • Providing comprehensive services to all trafficking victims; and

  • Providing training, increasing awareness and community outreach
